Hi everyone,

This is Paul, your new teacher here. I have made this blog so we can share some of our photos and creative writing on the course. I will also post a new "blog" entry every week on a Friday - so you can see what we are studying and what we are gonna talk about in class - before you get to class on Tuesday evenings!! Cool huh?

Class 1, Week 1: for January 15

Topics for Class 1

1. Talk about our interests in writing and photography
2. Talk about our favourite photos or books/poems - see my task for you below
3. Look at some examples of good and bad writing
4. Look at some examples of good and bad photography
5. Introduce this blog to everyone
6. Introduce the new BYA iPads to everyone
7. Open chat about ideas for iPads and Blogs in our course

Task to do before you come to Class 1

Please bring with you to the class a single photo you love, or the name of a single book/poem you love.
Be ready to say why you love it & what's good about it for 1 minute!
We will all do this, including me :)
